One of the advantages of having our own server space now is that we have room for people to attach images to their posts without having to resort to using the likes of Photobucket, Imageshack or whatever and copying links around. We've now enabled the attachments feature, so you can attach up to four images to each post with a maximum size per file of 2 MBytes. Photos should ideally be limited to around 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high so that the forum layout isn't mucked up. We have 10GB put aside for attached images, which should allow a minimum of over 5,000 images to be uploaded - but please don't waste the space by posting ridiculous numbers of pixtures. Excessive images or ones that break forum rules will be removed just the same as postings without them would be.
To attach an image, use the input box just below the preview and submit buttons. Click on "Browse..." to locate the image you want to attach on your computer and then click the "Add the file" button to upload it into the message you're creating. When you finally submit your post, the image(s) will appear inside it like the one below:

Once the image has been uploaded, you can use the "Place inline" button to put its code into the message body so you can carry on writing afterwards like this. If you don't, the image(s) will simply be added to the bottom of your message.
Please let us know if you have any problems!
