Put us down as likely attendees.
The car is in for it's MOT this week, actions which were galvanised by the prospect of the run.
I will confirm when done.

cheers

The car sailed through it's MOT this morning,, So we are on for doing the Run.

While prepping the car, it needed the handbrake cable tightening so the seats came out for the first time in our ownership, we found a nice EKA penknife and 16p in loose change as a bonus. - there's probably another thread for stuff found under car seats.

Coming back from the garage we spotted another 924 parked in a driveway in our village so I will go back to have a look and post the details

cheers

I've even been able to book a couple of cheap AirBnB stays despite the restrictions in place!

Definitely on.
We have just booked a b+b for the Friday near Lincoln
Looking forward to getting the car off SORN and giving it a run.
We have just had to cancel our road trip to Germany as the ferries are not yet running to Zeebrugge.

Just a quick update.

I am planning the final route over the next few days. As we found on Saturday, rest stops are quite random in what is and isn’t open.

I’ve updated the first post with a list of who is coming. Can you all email me at events@porsche924.co.uk so I have your email address? Even if you’ve done this before, could you do so again?

I need to buy the museum tickets ASAP so do need to know numbers including passengers by the end of the week.

As we have such a good turn out, we will stagger our starting times and go off in groups.

I've sent out an urgent e-mail today. Please ready it.

I will need you to book your own tickets for the museum as you need to also book your car park ticket at the same time. If you haven't got the email, please contact me at:

events@porsche924.co.uk

The Petwood are encountering some difficulties with the vast numbers coming and social distancing, at the moment. We currently have 42 people and 26 cars on the run which is far more than we've ever had.

We'll have a plan for an evening meal, hopefully at the Petwood, but bear with me on this.
