Hi, i'm looking for an early 924 fuel tank cup, mine is rusty, and those coming from Golf & Scirocco seems to be not compatible.

Thanks in advance for your help

These seem more easily available in the USA for some reason.

You're right, it won't fit. :bang: .
I saw another reference but it's currently unavailable on this website.

Will try some other places like pelican or rockauto, any ideas ?

I wonder if you can bodge the VW plastic onto the guts of the later cap?

I found this on rockauto, very cheap but it has a lock  , US customs will cost me more than the cap itself, look at the price tag £9.54 / 10.50€ .

@dd924 : i've another one to sacrifice for testing with no key

It's not the same style, but this one has a lock: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-MAGGIOLIN ... SwqSJbVLMB

Might be an aftermarket one but seems to be 'new old stock'
