After much soul searching I've decided to sell my much loved 924. I bought it from a club member in 2012 and I believe the previous 2 owners were also club members. Since owning it it's been mot'd and driven every year and I have shown it at several shows each year. It's been faultlessly reliable and flown through all the mot's.
It's always been garaged in my ownership and very much cared for. When I bought it I did the exhaust manifold gaskets and replaced the notorious starter wiring, the lower rear portion of the front wings have been repaired to a high standard apart from that it's just had sensible annual maintenance.
The car is completely standard (apart from professionally fitted and reliable alarm and remote central locking) and spec 'd with all the usual kit for that model year incl;

Electric sunroof, also removeable with bag for storage.
Electric Windows
Electric boot release
Blaupunkt radio cassette, electric aerial

Interior is pinstripe with no rips tears or serious wear. Some sun cracking to dash top but not too bad( has not got any worse during my ownership)
Carpets perfect- genuine 924 front mats
Everything works
Gearbox has been great
Engine is strong and starts first time every time- it's done about 94k miles- believed correct with tons of history, engine bay really clean, polished rocker and coated cam belt cover
Full Stainless exhaust
It comes with 924 registration number which is included in sale
Paint is very nice generally (it has had some paint in its life but it's been done well) there are some sun spots on bonnet but not too noticeable
Wheels have all been professionally refurbed and are a stand out feature and always get positive comments( even the spare)
Recent new tyres all round
Has original tool kit and jack
Original handbook/ documents present
2 sets of original keys and 2 alarm/ locking fobs

I'm selling as I need the room for my other project an alfetta gtv and need the cash towards a respray for it, also the kids don't fit in the 924 anymore, however it is with regret as it's been and still is a great car.

I'm looking for £3500 or near offer. Viewing welcome (Stone, Staffs.) Will gladly take on test drive. Please contact me (Chris) on : 07792348683.

Hi Chris,

The car stands very well. Comprehensive write up.

Good luck for a prompt sale.

Thanks for that, I have truly loved owning it and whoever buys it will be getting a great car. I plan to add some more pics of engine bay and interior as soon as I get chance. Pictures in the posting so far are from last years Trentham show.

Another really nice example that lives perhaps just a little too far from me! I wish I could take some time off work and other commitments to have a look but will probably still be a few weeks before I'm able to.

I'm surprised this hasn't been snapped up yet. I am interested so PM me if you think we can somehow make something work.

Hi Paul, glad you've found the pics. I'll see about getting it mot'd after my nights finish in a couple of weeks and then I'll get in touch about you coming to view/test drive. I'm sure we can sort something out.
